Condo & Apartment Cleaning in Waterloo
Small spaces are quick to clean and slow to get into. We handle the second part so the first part actually happens on schedule.
Condo cleaning in Waterloo splits into two groups. Uptown, along King, Caroline and Regina, there are the newer towers - one and two bedrooms, in-suite laundry, a lot of glass, and building rules about access. Out in Westmount, Lakeshore and along Erb there are older apartment and townhouse-condo complexes with different problems: aluminum window tracks, older bathroom tile, and balconies that collect grit.
What a suite clean covers
- Kitchen: counters, backsplash, sink, appliance exteriors, cooktop, microwave in and out, cabinet fronts, floor
- Bathrooms: tub or shower and glass, tile, toilet, vanity, mirrors, chrome descaled, floor
- Living and bedrooms: dusted including sills and ledges, glass and mirrors, floors vacuumed and washed
- In-suite laundry wiped down, lint trap cleared
- Balcony door tracks and interior glass; balcony swept on request
- Garbage and recycling taken to the chute or the bin room
Access, handled in advance
Most Waterloo buildings need the service elevator booked and a visitor or contractor pass arranged, and some want a certificate of insurance on file with property management. Give us the building name when you book and we deal with the concierge before the visit. That is the single biggest reason condo cleans get rescheduled, and it is avoidable.
Recurring in a small suite
A one-bedroom does not need weekly. Biweekly or monthly keeps a suite genuinely clean, and it is the most common schedule we run Uptown - often for people who travel for work or are in the office long hours and want to walk into a done apartment on a Thursday.
Investor units
A lot of Uptown suites are owned by people who do not live in Waterloo and rent them to students or young professionals. Those get cleaned the same way as any other turnover, with photos sent to the owner on completion - see turnover cleaning.
Frequently asked questions
Do you need my building to approve you first?
Some buildings want a certificate of insurance on file and a contractor pass. Tell us the building when you book and we will get that done before the first visit.
Is a condo cheaper than a house?
Usually, because there is less of it - but bathroom count and glass matter more than square footage. See the cost guide for typical ranges.
Can you clean the balcony?
Sweeping and wiping the railing and the door glass, yes. We do not do exterior window washing above the ground floor.
